They are both GOATS because they both raced at different times and both peeked in their careers at different times. If we are adding up EVERYONE, there are many GOATS...RC is the GOAT of this generation.

It amazes me how fast a generation goes in MX... I have been around for 4 of them that I remeber.. The Ward/Baily/Johnson era, the Stanton/Bradshaw era, the McGrath and now the RC era. It seems to be we are starting a new one since this generations GOAT is done... Who's next.. Is it JS, RV, BT or RD? Anybody else that should be in the discussion?

Just for my own curiosity, has any other rider had a perfect motocross season besides Ricky?
As far as who's the next GOAT, I personally think it will be JS, I think by the time RV moves up to the big boys and with Ricky being gone JS should be able to focus and put together a clean series which could get the ball rolling for him............maybe. as far as RV though I think he is going to need a little bit of time in the motocross class before he really shines, pretty much the same story as JS.
but hell, who knows |

I'm not a fan of either, but I'm going to have to say RC.
IMO, MC isn't a factor because of his SX only decision. _________________ Sarcasm, one of the many services I offer,

RC is the only one to have a perfect season.. RV rides that bike like an animal!!! He doesn't seem to crash as much as JS does though. I know RV has gone down a few times this year but they haven't been big crashes. I think we are in for some good racing the next few years!!

I'll buy the RC goat.. MC King.. I think MC did more for the sport than RC MC brought the sport of MX and SX to a new level with TV and his famous nac-nac was the start of the freestyle movement!!
